Feeling nervous and can't sleep - could labour be imminent?

I'm 39+6 in my second pregnancy, I'm shattered today, and normally I am able drift off with no issues. Tonight I have butterflies in my tummy and just can't get to sleep. I feel nervous, the sort of feeling you get the night before an exam or job interview. Has anyone out there experienced similar just before going into labour? Or is this wishful thinking - has anyone experienced this feeling and woken up the next morning, still very much pregnant and not in labour?!

I should add that I've had no other symptoms though, no pain, no tightening, no show, waters still intact. My last labour was induced and I didn't feel 'nornal' contractions, so I think I don't really know how it feels to go into labour.
