C Section Recovery

I had an emergency section 5 weeks ago and noticed in the last few days there are a few lumps / bumps under where my scar is. There are two bigger ones (about walnut size) on my left sort of away from the scar and then smaller ones (about pea size) under the scar itself. I’m not sure how long they’ve been there as I was nervous about touching down there really! I’m still a bit sore anyway but wasn’t sure if I should see my GP. Has anyone had anything similar?

Not sure it’s relevant but I had a b-lynch stitch put in during the section to hold my uterus in place (I think! I was a bit out of it when the dr was explaining it!)

I had some hard, knobbly bits under my scar after my second section, elective. Also had pain do I went to see GP and she said it was just scar tissue and was healing beautifully. It was fine after and think I was probably trying to do too much! With a baby and toddler to look after..
see your gpif you're not sure x

Thank you for replying - scar tissue did cross my mind so I think it must be that.

I’m going to book my follow up 6-8 week check this week so I’m sure they can look at it then. It’s very hard to rest / recover with kids around isn’t it?!
