Hi
Gave birth 12 weeks ago and at 6 weeks PP I went a gave myself a prolapsed bladder from doing way too much !
Mum of 2 under 2- first birth pelvic floor was fine ish after and healed well - 2nd birth very fast 9lber and was doing ok until started doing too much and boom pelvic floor let me down !!!
I’m due to see physio and booked on pelvic floor course next week ! Been doing my Kegels and strength if my Deep core muscles ! As hoping to heal this naturally !

Anyone managed to do this ?

Did you have good and bad days with the prolapse. ? This really annoys me ! Like feel it’s getting much better then feel like took 5 steps back !

Slight leakage I think ! I don’t know whether it’s watery discharge ( which I think it is a vagina feels very wet - sorry tmi) - keep smelling my kickers as obsessed with it as don’t want to be leaking wee ! Anyone else do this ? I’m sure I’d know if it was wee smell so I think it’s more discharge etc ! Anyway this drives me crazy sometimes !!!!

Would love to hear from any mums with pelvic floor problems who managed to heal them or prolapsed healed naturally ???

Thanks so Much

Hi Mumandprolapse,

We're sorry to hear this has happened - we totally sympathise as we've had a fair amount of babies between us here at HQ.

We can't offer any medical advice but we wanted to pop in, say hi and give this a bump for you.

Please feel free to post in General Health too in case there are users there who can support you.

Good Luck with your pelvic floor course - we hope things improve for you.

I had a vaginal prolapse first time round that healed with pelvic floor exercises. When I have a Cough it comes back but a few days of exercises forms it up again.

However second time round I damaged something in my back passage. This took 12 months to heal naturally.

So, I would say you are really really early days still and don’t expect it to be quick and simple to fix.
Good luck

Hi OP, mine was brought out by childbirth and while I still have a “bulge” which I find upsetting, I don’t really have a lot of the symptoms I used eg no incontinence anymore, no heaviness and dragging in my pelvis. Good luck with your course Flowers

I had a slight bladder prolapse after birth, didn’t really have any symptoms, but the GP noticed it whilst checking for something else. I was referred for physio and had 2 sessions, they helped me with pelvic floor exercises and told me about a free NHS app called Squeezy. Good luck, it can get better naturally!
