Internal Tearing

Has anyone experienced internal vaginal/uterine/cervical tearing?
I can't seem to google much about internal tears as everything relates back to the perineum.
I was rushed into theatre post-birth and was stitched up under a general anaesthetic due to the significant internal tears. Anyone have any experience to share regarding healing- what you did/how long it took etc.
4 weeks on, I still have significant pain, taking strong painkillers; struggling to sit and poops are a nightmare. 😢

@Dalooah hi. Yes, I had 2nd degree tears, inside and out. 😔 unfortunately, it took me a few months before I felt properly back to normal. But the pain reduced a lot by around 3/4 months. I always felt sensitive. I was due a smear test 5 months after birth, and the nurse checked everything was healing ok too. Everything was ok, and now my baby is 9 months old, I feel back to normal (maybe still a tiny bit sensitive, but nothing worrying).
Speak to your health Visitor or nurse at the 6 week check, and they could check it.
Congrats on baby.
