Could I be induced?

So although the growth is following the chart it is looking to be on the larger side which is surprising given I have low Papp-A.

Am I able to discuss a potential induction? I am fearful going to 40 weeks and the possibility of delivering a 10lb baby.

I completely understand these are just estimates but I have had several comments on me looking ready to drop/looking big... the list could go on! I am sure feeling the strain now.

I wouldn’t worry too much but discuss it with your midwife if you are concerned. My growth chart was about the same and in the end I went 8 days over. The Chart was saying she’d be 10+ but induction wasn’t mentioned at all when I was overdue (although I did have 3 sweeps). I raised it with the midwife and she told me she didn’t feel too massive and not to worry. In the end she was ‘only’ 8 11 so on the big side but not a whopper, especially given how overdue she was!

I'd take the chart with a pinch of salt tbh I think they would probally only offer you induction if your measurement/babys measurements went off the chart but no harm in actually asking your midwife. My lo is above the top line and going further above induction has been mentioned to me but as a passing comment they are still happy for me to go into spontaneous labour for now. My last baby was 9lb 8oz
