C-Section recovery/possible infection?

Had an ENCS 6 weeks ago, incision was healing fine until the last few days when the site has started looking red on one side, has an odd smell and tonight has bled a small amount (a few drops on a tissue) again from that same side.

I'll call my gp when they are open but for now- is this normal? There's no pain or fever, the incision is in a little belly pouch which I can't imagine helps the situation (2nd baby and he was a big one!)

I had an infection a couple of weeks after an emergency section, started just as you described, I think it would be good to call out of hours as you need the antibiotics.

Yes I had this too - antibiotics and rest (well as much as you can with babies) sorted it out
