Second c section - pouch?

Me and DP had our first LO almost a year ago by elective section (Frank breech position and failed ecv) and are considering trying for a second baby. I've healed very nicely now, with no pouch, a very neat scar, although I can feel a layer of fat bounce above the scar when I run (nothing visible though).

I was wondering what peoples' experiences were of a second c section (or more), if you didnt get a pouch with the first? I know it's such a small and vain thing to worry about, but my tummy is one of the few things to emerge unscathed from our first LO (who after cmpa, reflux, milk aversion, still doesnt eat any solids at all - we're under multiple care teams).

I had my first in 2014, second this year. Two different incisions, about an inch apart. I’m lucky that they both healed beautifully and there’s no overhang. Occasionally if I’m a bit tender (eg period) I feel a little puffiness above the most recent one, but nothing more. Hoping you have a great recovery second time around too! 👍🏻

Mine were 3 years apart. They used the same incision for the second one which was 7 weeks ago. No pouch etc, it looks the same as after my first. Indentation at the scar site but that's all. HTH.

I do have an overhang, but the whole thing is nearer after my second c section than it was after my first.

Oh interesting, thanks! It's a way off for us yet, but one in my long list of things to consider!
