I’m in labour…

Waters broke this morning, have been in to be checked over and now sent home till labour is properly established.

Parents have given us a parcel of leftovers from yesterday for a nourishing lunch.

I am almost crying! I’m feeling very emotional right now, and the food parcel has tipped me over the edge!

Is it normal to want to cry at cold leftover turkey when you’re in labour?! 😅😭

I think I need a kick up the bum, or at least to stiffen my sinews a bit Smile no good my baby having a wet blanket for a mother! (Even if she is sitting on a wet blanket as her waters drain…)

Good luck! Enjoy your lunch and that cuppa and toast after labour will taste even better!

Good luck!! Your body is being flooded with hormones, you’ll probably be a bit overwhelmed 😂

Thank you for the good wishes, everyone! I have now eaten the turkey food parcel, and am hoping this will restore some rationality to my psyche very soon 😄

Good luck. Hope it all kicks off in earnest for you soon and baby arrives quickly.

Currently 38 + weeks on no. 3 and wishing I was in your position. Although baby is breech so I'd be in for an emergency section if that were the case but due to a massive baby I'm in so much pain constantly I'd be happy to have it all over.

Look forward to your news.

Oh and ps....you can cry over anything when you're in labour...it's definitely a rule!

You can be as emotional as you wish. Sending hugs and good wishes to you and baby💐
