I'm 34+3, I do not believe I am in labour! However I am getting stomach 'pains', along the top of my bump is uncomfortable, but continuous, so no waves of discomfort etc. Also getting random sharper pains roughly in my vagina area! No other symptoms at all! However I am a first time mum!!
My question is at this stage in pregnancy how long would you leave discomfort etc to play out? Or would you give it some time and then contact hospital?
I'm now resting in bed and I have done all everything I can to help ease symptoms (been for a wee and poo etc)
Thanks ladies!

Sounds like Braxton and lightning crotch. I had them around the same time as you and it proper panicked me tbh, this is my first too, and went to be monitored as I was convinced he was coming 😂.

If you are unsure call the number on your notes, they will be able to decide if you need to pop in to be checked or not. I did and although mine was nothing I'm glad I called just to peace of mind.

Try to relax and give them a call ☺.

Braxton hicks + fanny daggers - joys!

Sounds like nothing to be concerned about but maybe give your MW a call to put your mind at rest
