So just come back from second sweep now officially I've had enough they've booked me for third on Thursday before heading in Friday, fed up everything is ready but need pains to get it all going or at least waters!!!
So anyone have tips? I am over due date 40 + 2 so as you can see I'm slowly getting fed up, whether it just get the baby out or everyone texting me any sign yet haha!

Anything will be useful going to jump into the bath now whilst OH and DS is out shopping lol then to the birthing ball!

Tips - nature is not a microwave that pings after 40 weeks, try not to think of it as being 'overdue'. It might not be what you want to hear but up to 42 weeks is common. It's a month-long 38-42 week window really.

Relax. You're most likely to go into labour with lots of oxytocin so snuggle, smooch, and twiddle away. None of the tricks really work. It'll come when it comes. Take nice nature walks and generally look after yourself.

Good luck! Thanks

I went into labour when I stopped trying to do stuff to bring it on, instead I had a day sat on the couch eating chocolate and napping. Hope things start for you soon

Exactly what I intend to do, think today literally just got to me so fed up of is it today as I wasn't aloud past on my second I have experienced this naturally, not just that I'm on fragmin injections so I worry about the time I inject and so on the little things that can turn into the big things as born worrier would do!

Think I just go so fed up with yeah, your so so dilated all soft, even the midwife is confused like how I've not gone but I just have a daughter with shitty time keeping skills like myself hah!
There's been the pains I've had since 37 weeks and the last week has been contracting or BH for roughly 6 hours and it dies out! I think how can I be sitting in this pain/ uncomfortableness and I get nothing from it! Mixture of waddling around, pain due to PGP and just thinking about everything else, not just that I'm having this second child syndrome thing where closer I'm getting to her arrival I just want to spend time with my son, but struggling to bend, breathe the lot to do that haha!!!
Mixed emotions afternoon!

Went into labour the day I stopped worrying about it . Just planned a really nice day with lunch etc and did a museum and some shopping as well .

I'm glad it was that day as I have lovely memories of it and pictures which makes me smile now knowing that was my last day before I met DD . My advice take loads of photos , wish I had taken more when I got to that stage .

Ah I understand that feeling, I remember having my sweep on my due date, being told I was 2-3cm dilated, could stretch to 4cm, had also been at risk of prem labour since 24 weeks and she still didn't budge until 40+5 Hmm fingers crossed your DD comes along a bit quicker
