Can someone please remind me what the recommendation from Doula UK is for birth doulas fees. Is it £150 plus expenses.

Thanks, have to call a potential client (my first time) and I havent got my NB stuff with me.

No it's £150 which is expenses. This is a recommendation so you can charge mileage etc. Well done!

what is the £150 for?

curious as i am hoping to do the NB course soon and get started as soon as i can.

PeckaRolloverAgain · 20/08/2007 16:57

£150 is what Doula UK recommends you charge your clients for a birth (including antenatal prep and postnatal visit) until you are "recognised".

Phraedd · 20/08/2007 17:00

thank you very much

would it be ok for me to email some of you doulas with questions?

Klaw · 20/08/2007 18:01

Hello Phraedd, I'm sure you would be more than welcome! I've only ever had enquiries about becoming a Doula via my website and I love answering them.

Looking forward to my first genuine job enquiry tho! Jobs have come from other sources so far....

Actually, I have had one enquiry but she was way out of range :-(
