Just looking for abit of advice really . I've always used the copper coil as birth control as anything with hormones just makes me a hormonal mess Blush.
I'm getting an elective c section in March and midwife said I can get it put in there and then I had a horrendous time getting it in last time felt everything .I'm just worried about increased bleeding and pain afterwards anyone had this done ?

Mmn, I'd ask the docs but it's a heavy bleed after birth as you shed womb lining from the last nine months. A coil wouldn't be able to add more to the lining as it's already on the way out. I suppose you might bleed longer?

Having an appoint for the coil to be put in is a nice little rest from the baby tho Grin

Not had this done but I should imagine there's high chance of expelling the coil
