Here in hospital with my DD (25 years, 2nd baby, 38.5 weeks pregnant).
We have been here since Thursday. Attempts made to induce labour started at 4pm. The 24 hour Propess pessery was first.... Followed by 4 x gells every 6 hours.
We get to Sunday 10am....Got to a 5 on the Bishop but not enough to break waters.
So. Given option of resting and trying again or having a Section today (Monday). DD decided for Section today.
We all arrive this morning ready for the Section. Unfortunately staff have gone sick. No room for DD until Wednesday morning.
So... we have decided to duel plan. Another cycle of gels today... just started... and a defo elective Section planned for Wednesday.
1st Gel just put in. Bishop Scored lowered back to three unfortunately but we plan to be active and walk/bounce.
So we would love to know if anyone tried a 2nd cycle of and succeeded! Stories of hope welcomed!
