Hi so long story short nearly 6 years ago I had a emergency c section for my daughter (which entailed the anisatist trying to get the spinal block in my back 13!! Times loosing 87 per of my own blood) went home 4 days later was home 3 days when my stithes bust open, it was infected I had to have another operation where they had to take the bad tissue away amd let it heal it's self (another.week in hospital then bed rest for another 13 week with a 3 yr lb running round as well) now imagine ur scar? Now In the midle of your scan there is a 4 cm long 2.3 cm deep and 2 cm wide whole where the infection as to heal it's self getting packed (which really hurts btw) every day.. now to present day I'm now 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant (early scan due to not knowing if I could carry the baby) and know I have to go for a elective section my question is as anyone had a expirance like mine? And then had another section and was ok? I got really bad ptsd from my daughter and the nightmares are flooding back... I know everyones sections are different but surely there must be one person that got infected and had another pregnancy... any help or advice wud be brilliant... also yes I already am speaking to my mw and my consultant about everything thank you

I was told after my emcs by both my consultant & midwife that if I were to get pregnant again I would automatically be able to have a C section again if I preferred. Speak to your midwife about your fears, tell her about your bad experience last time so that it is in your notes, the hospital should read all this & make doubly sure that extra care is taken to make sure it won't happen again.

However recovers well and was discharged two days later healed really well! We're now 11 years on and I'm 33 weeks pregnant!
