Sweep advice

had a sweep yesterday at 2pm, she said I was 2cm dilated and also 2cm thick?? when I got home around an hour later I started getting a mild constant back ache. I then got in the shower and when I got out the shower I noticed that I had a dark brown discharge with little tiny bits of jelly substance in it .. ever since last night I have been going the toilet , it’s little bits of what looks like old blood but it’s not dark brown anymore it’s more like a light brown but very light .. I’m guessing this is from the sweep. The back ache hasn’t went away atall and is slightly worse today but manageable I’m not in pain, but I do handle pain pretty well but it’s a constant ache in my lower back, just wondering if this sounds like it could be the start of things if you have had a similar experience or what not? I’m 39+1 today 🙈💕

Definitely sounds like the start of things! The bits of jelly sounds like you are losing your mucus plug. I had a sweep and 24 hours later labour started. Good luck OP, rest as much as possible now to reserve your energy for when things start picking up!
