I’m pregnant with my first (due in June) and was surprised at my first midwife appointment that I had to preliminarily choose which hospital to give birth at. I said I wanted a water birth and so she suggested LGI as apparently it’s got a whole new state-of-the-art maternity ward. Has anyone given birth there recently that can put my mind at ease in regards to the facilities/staff there?
I’ve been to both LGI and Jimmy’s multiple times for other reasons and always felt that LGI was cleaner and a bit more modern.
I also have mild brittle bone disease therefore may need specialist care during labour.
