Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
nowifi · 03/10/2019 21:42

Good luck! My contractions didn't start until about 8 or 9 hours after my waters went, hopefully you won't have to wait that long Grin

SparkyBlue · 03/10/2019 22:11

On my second baby my contractions started immediately but on my third they didn't start until about 13 hours later. Best of luck. Exciting times for you.

mummy915 · 03/10/2019 22:14

Eeek exciting, my waters went at 9:30pm with DD2 but contractions didn't start until 24 hours later - she was born 10 mins after reaching the labour ward though - good luck

How are you doing @mummy915? Hopefully you are now busy with things or having new baby snuggles!

mummy915 · 04/10/2019 14:53

Nothing yet still getting odd niggle and very uncomfortable down below with pressure! Just took DD for a walk so hopefully things start happening by end of today at least lol thanks for asking x

Awe, well I hope things get moving soon, I hated the inbetween times just waiting!

mummy915 · 04/10/2019 18:10

Yeah I'm the same! Specially now my waters have gone lol! I'm going to try a nice bath with some Clary oil radox so fingers crossed lol! They say 90% women go into labour on there own within 24 hours of there waters breaking so we got just over an hour for that to be true for me haha x

loulou20106 · 04/10/2019 19:48

I didn't think you was allowed out once waters went as an infection risk? I wonder if it's just our hospital soon as waters go if Labour doesn't start within 24 hours they induce x

mummy915 · 04/10/2019 21:43

Loulou it was same for ours with my daughter 6 years ago but midwife said yday new rules come in can leave woman upto 72 hours before inducing if they don't want it x
