I've recently had my DS born via C section he's now 10 weeks old, I've more or less fully healed (although my scar is wonky). I was just wondering if you ever get the feeling back across the bottom of your stomach just above the scar mine is just numb it feels so strange i can feel when I run my hand across it but not fully and it makes me feel queasy for some reason I don't know why it's just a strange sensation. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the numbing

Hi, I've had 3 C Sections, my last one almost 6 years ago and the feeling has never come back for me after any of my sections.

Hello I had my c section 9 months ago and I also have a numb feeling down there! Mine feels lime a lumpy line though and just makes me feel so uneasy to look at and touch

C section scar - the sensation does return. It doesn't feel as weird as it did 8 years whizz infact the nerve endings which have been severed don't bother you eventually - give it a year or so. So many years on - it's still wonky and feels odd to touch but the surreal dead skin feeling - that will pass. HTH.

I had mine 16 years ago and the numbness has now totally gone. Most of it subsided within the first few years but there was one tiny area I thought would never recover fully and it’s only since reading this post that I realise it has. I guess nerve damage can take a while to heal sometimes.

Had 2 c-sections, only had numbness for a few months and the very occasional twinge of discomfort around it but mostly it's been totally fine.

Thanks for the responses. I'm hoping it goes go away as like I said it's a really strange sensation!

I've had two c sections, most recent was 2 years ago, and I have no numbness at all. It all just feels like normal skin. Looks like a saggy mess mind you, but feels normal! Grin (Sorry I don't mean to scare you - I had enormous children and put on loads of weight in pregnancy. Finally nudged back into healthy BMI range this morning so am hopeful the appearance will improve as I lose more weight).
