Currently 40 plus 5 with baby number 2, had first sweep this morning. Baby's head is low and midwife was able to use 2 fingers. Just feeling the need for some positive vibes about how this sweep is obviously going to make me go into labour any minute now. Feeling like such a tired whale. Thanks guys x

I had a sweep at 40 plus 3 at around 11 in the morning, contractions started around 4pm and was in full blown labour later that night. Fingers crossed for you! X

Your post has actually made me cry a tiny bit. I'm such a mess. I so so hope this is me. I'm definitely feeling him more on my cervix but nothing else just yet. Have everything crossed (well except my legs!) Grin xxx

I had a sweep at 40+3 days, on he Friday, I was already 1cm and felt crampy straight after and went onto labour on the Saturday night but as I was already 1cm I'm not sure if I'd have gone into labour anyway but I'm sure it speeded things a lot abit x
