Sorry tmi throughout. So for the last week me and my 2year old dd have had a cold. Last Tuesday wednesday she had an upset tummy 6 poos in one day! So saturday I started getting cramps braxton hicks and I thought I was going to poo myself had to rush to the toilet. The Braxton hicks lasted another 2hours then stopped. Yesterday had a soft poo and then today I've been 3 times each time it got softer (like I said tmi sorry!) The pressure In my vag is unreal to the point that even dp said it looks swollen and puffy 😕 I'm 38weeks today could this be the start? With dd I woke up 38+ 3 with my waters breaking and then 5 minutes later contractions started so even though I've done it before I still dont know what's a sign and what's a red herring. Any thoughts would be welcome

It could be, but sadly until the contractions kick off or your waters break you can't be sure.
I had very loose stools prior to labour with dd (5 years ago) but I've had loose stools the past few days and its not progressed into anything so it's really a guessing game I'm afraid.
