Cosultant Guy Thorpe-Beeston birth experiences

Hi All,

Has anyone got any experience with consultant Guy Thorpe-Beeston for a private birth? He is a consultant on Lindo Wing and portland hospital.

I have heard only good things about him but I would like to know how he handles the birth itself - how much is he actively involved in the birth, how quickly he turns up once I'm at hospital how good he is at responding to requests during birth, etc.?

I would really appreciate it if you could share your experiences of him.

I'm currently thinking whether to choose Guy Beeston for my birth (I wan to do a vaginal birth) and I was wondering whether you ended up going with him and how your experience was? Did you have vaginal birth or C-section?

Hi Celine, yes I did. I had an elective section with him last year. I had a plan for vaginal birth but after alot of research decided against it and booked an elective section with Guy. If you have any specific questions about him please feel free to drop me a private message.
