Normal Third Trimester Complaints or Early Labour

I'm 34+3 getting to that really uncomfortable stage, sickness has begun again and so on.. my baby has been head down from 28 weeks and dropped at 30 weeks, this is my second pregnancy but can't recall what labour was like in the early stages the last time, I only recall going to hospital once my waters broke and I was in active labour. So symptoms.. acid reflux and sickness have returned, pelvic pressure that I feel like my bum is going to fall out (sorry), cramping period like pains across lower abdomen, a lot of discomfort and pressure on lower spine. No bloody show or extra discharge, no contractions, baby is moving as usual, no concerns about them. I also have cold like symptoms, duno if that means anything other than summer is over though haha. However, I do have an old lower back injury which has caused some dicscomfort and pain throughout my pregnancy, altho this is probably the worst I've felt, when I walk I feel my legs may buckle under me. I've lost some weight and my bump has changed shape again and is really low now. I was getting shooting pains in my vagina last week but these have since stopped. I have the midwife tomorrow so will speak to her then but just looking to see if anyone else has experienced anything like this and if I'm getting close to the end of this pregnancy or it's just normal third trimester complaints. My backache has eased a bit with a warm shower, putting the water on the pained area and now lying on my side with a pillow under my bump for added support.

Play it safe. Give the prenatal unit or the midwife a call.

I had most of these symptoms from about 35 weeks and I didn't got into labour until 41+3.

Absolutely still speak to your midwife though because obviously best to be safe.

I've had similar symptoms since 34 weeks, and still no baby now at 38 weeks. So it may just be bad luck that you've got everything at once - you have my sympathy!

As others have said, it won't hurt to give the midwives a ring to discuss just in case

It sounds like Sciatica I felt like this with my two and I ended up getting colds and flu as I was just so tired and in pain from doing everything i imagine my immune system must of been down too, I felt awful but get checked out defo
