Its 11pm I'm.in hospital to be induced. Theres two beds in a bay for labouring etc. The lady next to me is not in labour but has decided to make phone calls non stop since 10pm. Shes not quiet either I've just had codeine and trying to sleep before it all really starts and it seems impossible and unfair I'd never be this inconsiderate:(

That is really antisocial. Can you nip out to the midwife and ask her to pop in and tell everyone to pipe down?

Can they move her or you?

I had a noisy, inconsiderate room mate on the first night when I was being induced. I tried to be polite and say nothing but eventually the irritation bubbled over inside me and I shouted at her to shut the fuck up. She was shocked, I was embarrassed and apologised. In my defence I was scared, tired and in pain.

She did shut up though Blush

Maybe best just to ask her politely to be quiet...
