Hi, sorry don't have any advice, just thought this might give you a bump x

I was in this situation & read stuff on EVC & didn't like the sound of it. I was more than happy to have a section so just made the decision to go for that. Lovely experience & no regrets

Planned section! Mine was wonderful. I didn't even entertain the idea of ECV. My consultant didn't push it. Success rates are low for the risk & discomfort.

I tried an ecv but it didn't work. The dr manages to turn my dd about 10 degrees but when he let go she just pinged straight back to where she wanted to be. They did lots of monitoring and didn't try and force something that wasn't showing signs of working. I'm glad we tried. I loved my c-section. I felt like I was in a factory assembly line at times, as everyone is so efficient and so many people doing different things. Recovery wise I was 'fine', getting out of bed was the hardest as it involves tummy muscles!

Oh, my antenatal group friend had an ecv too and it worked for her. Her boy was massive but was happily shifted round.

Have you tried moxibustion? That’s got quite a good success rate.

I had a planned section last month due to my baby being breech the entire pregnancy. I rejected an ECV. When he came out the cord was wrapped around his neck four times, my consultant said that's very likely the reason why he was breech the whole time and the ECV could of done a lot of damage.

Some babies move around a lot during pregnancy and in these cases maybe an ECV is more worth it, but if baby has been breech since the start there's likely a reason for it - I wouldn't take the risk.
