Mucus plug 39 weeks

Hi all,

I started losing my mucus plug this morning, then I started getting pains and backache. Since having my lunch and coming home I felt a nap was needed so I went for a lye down for an hour. Since having that hour everything seems to of disappeared. How long did you have to wait after losing your mucus plug or starting to lose it to go into labour?

I'm supposed to have a Doppler scan tomorrow but hoping he makes an appearance instead Grin

Lost mine today at 39+6, no signs yet

DramaAlpaca · 07/08/2019 01:57

I lost my plug at 39+1 & DS was born 12 hours later, just after midnight at 39+2.

It's a long time ago now, but I remember it like it was yesterday. Good luck all, hope things get going very soon.

Still waiting... currently 39+3. It's annoying when things start happening and then potentially stop Hmm.

Not long hopefully ladies. Good luck to you all. I can't wait to have my bladder back

I lost mine almost a week ago, also had backache etc for a few hours which then stopped. I'm 41+1. With my first baby I lost it during early labour, had DD within 24 hours.

Yeah I have been having lower backache too, feeling a little nauseous, and plenty of lightening pains.

Hopefully it's not too long now

About a week and half.

I've been loosing mine since about 17 weeks 😫. On 2nd baby so can happen like that & mucus plug does grow back.

Didn't lose my 'show' until about an hour before pushing. Good luck xx

Shock... fingers crossed something happens soon!

Eviction for me Sunday if he doesn't make an appearance before Brew
