I'm hoping so! lol.
My first dd was 21 hours in total (first contraction to delivery), second ds was 16 hours in total, what do you think my chances of a quick one this time is?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

well I didn't go into labour at all for DS1 ended up with a very boring and undramatic em CS

DS2 I was induced and although "officialy" only 9hrs.....it was more like 16hrs (took from 7pm until 11am to reach 10cm).

DS3 - well from the time the contractions became very painful (and when I thought yes perhaps I AM in labour) was 5hrs....BUT I only got to the hospital at 12.45, wasn't examined until 1.30pm when I was told I was "Just" 3cm...he was born at 4.17pm that afternoon!

my first was 30 hours
my second was 2 hours

that's why I was slightly unnerved with number 3 when I started labour at 3pm picking up DS2 from nursery but...DS3 didn't arrive until 6 hours later

not sre there's a pattern - not for me anyway

Dunno- my first was 38, second 21, third 4.5 hours. First two were posterior presentation, which can really slow down a labour.
