Do you think they will just let me pass to get me out of the car

38+4 today with baby no 2 and my driving test is this afternoon.

I have been having backache all week (like the backache you get before your period that really heavy feeling) baby is fully engaged in fact midwife couldn't believe how far down he was and I had a huge show yesterday. Now I am getting distinctly crampy feelings all over my bump and feel quite sick which could either be the nerves of doing my test for the FOURTH time or i'm about to go into labour.

What do you reckon, if it's a male examiner the sight of me showing up in labour should scare the hell out of him!

Should you be doing your test now?

Wish you luck but will you be able to concentrate?

atalantis · 01/08/2007 14:16

Yikes! Good luck, hotcrumpets (both for test and imminent labour)!

meemar · 01/08/2007 14:19

I suppose it's one way to take your mind off exam nerves !

Good luck for test and birth!

Last chance to do my test before the baby gets here and if I cancel then I lose the £50 fee

I think i'll be alright, i'll just drive myself home if I do go into labour

I don't even want to think how much they would charge for the car cleaning

Good lucj HC! I tok a driving test at 38 weeks PG with ds (I failed though - by giong through a red light )

At leats you won't have to do an emergancy stop!

tellmeyourstories · 01/08/2007 14:47

I thought you didn't have to do emergency stop either, but my examiner last time asked me if I would be alright to do it if I had to, I said yes, and he then said "good if you refused then I would have to cancel the test and return to the test centre"

lulumama · 01/08/2007 14:48
