Did your dog know?

Ok so this is going to sound strange but did your dog start to act differently just before you went into labour, start crying or barking or anything? I just watched Marley and me (really shouldn't have at 31weeks 😭) and the dog seems to know just before she gets contractions, I'm curious if that happens In really life

I think I might be going into early labour and my dog will not leave my side... she is watching me like a hawk and won't sit anywhere other than on or next to me.

Will let you know whether or not it's labour tomorrow haha

My 3 dogs follow me everywhere anyway (hoping for food probably)

We only had cats when I was pregnant with the dses - they definitely knew I was pregnant the first time - I was not allowed to go upstairs unsupervised! They would both come upstairs with me, when I went to the loo, and sit on the edge of the bath to keep a proper eye on me. If I ever did manage to get upstairs unnoticed, there would be a mini stampede when they realised I had made the perilous journey up the stairs all on my own, and might be weeing on my own or even coming back down the stairs unaided!!

After ds1 was born, they stopped bothering - maybe I had proved I could be trusted - lolol!

I don't remember their behaviour changing before I went into labour, though.
