Due 8th August

I'm due 8th August with our first baby, just wondering if anyone is due around then aswell?

Iv had no signs yet!! And eager to meet our little lady!

Hi, I'm due on the 3rd August with my 2nd child, DD is nearly 6 and very excited!

Went for an attempt at a sweep yesterday at 39+2, cervix is still quite high but starting to soften so that's good news. I have another one booked on Thursday so it will be interesting to see if there's been any progress. No major signs yet, baby feels very low and I've been getting some Braxton Hicks for the last few days. Am doing raspberry leaf tea, clary sage and lots of bouncing on my ball!

My consultant is keen to induce around my due date, it's the policy for mother's over 40 here (I'm just 40 😬). I had an induction with DD and I'm keen to avoid it again!

@Kilkers awww it's all very exciting isn't it! Dates are supposed to be good to soften the cervix aswell! Iv been trying to have 6 a day!

40+2 here and still waiting for any sign of impending arrival.
Sweep this afternoon so hoping for some action tonight. I really wanted a July birthday for baby (got lots of other birthdays in August)

Due 1St August and been in latent phase since Sunday morning... So hopefully it'll be born this week!

Failed sweep as cervix posterior and closed. Booooooooo.

I'm 40+4 today and fed up.
I was 40+13 with DD so god knows when this one will come out.

39+3 here and due to be induced at 40wks on Sunday as they don't want baby to be bigger than 5kg. (Also considerations for me are I am 40, 4th baby, on enoxaparin injections)

I'm off to the hospital today for them to see what my cervix is like and hopefully a sweep. However as my earliest and only spontaneous baby was 9days over, I'm expecting it to be posterior/closed/unsweepable. 1 &3 were induced at 42wks, and my induction with 3 was brilliant.

So we're 39 weeks now- hurray!
I've not had many symptoms baby could be arriving soon. I've got pressure down below but I know that's just because of his head being engaged, I had a scared yesterday and ended up at the hospital with some bleeding after sex but nurse wasn't sure if it was a bloody show or not.. had the odd period cramp and some back ache but that's about it. Just hoping baby comes soon!
What are you having by the way, do you know? I'll be having a son 💘
