When does the pain start?

My amazing son was born this afternoon at 3pm by ELCS. I had a diclofenac suppository in theatre and then paracetamol and dihydrocodeine around 11pm. When should I expect the pain and trapped wind to start?

I also had a C section but it was 7 years ago now. I remember vaguely being a bit uncomfortable within about 6 hours afterwards. It did ease off though and was fine afterwards. Drink plenty of water, I found it helps. Enjoy your lovely little one!!
