Currently week 35 with di/di twins.

Did you have your twins by csection or vaginally? What week was it?

What twins did you have (di/di,mo/di)?

If csection was it a planned one? Or you went to Labour naturally?

If vaginally what position babies where?

Can't decide whats the safest to do!!

Currently week 35 with di/di twins.

Did you have your twins by csection or vaginally? -Csection as twin 1 was breech
What week was it?37+5

What twins did you have (di/di,mo/di)?Didi (dcda)

If csection was it a planned one? It was although they were desperate for me to give birth vaginally but due to twin one being breech this wasnt possible.
Or you went to Labour naturally? Nope not even a twinge.

If vaginally what position babies where?

  • emergency c section at 37+6 , dcda twin boys

What twins did you have (di/di,mo/

  • dcda twin boys, now 4y5m

If csection was it a planned one? Or you went to Labour naturally?

  • induced. 8 hours of labour, clip on head of T1 failed so they couldn’t trace his heart rate, suddenly it was “sign here” and there were 14 people in the room! Scary.

If vaginally what position babies where?

  • both were head down, hence trying for v birth. With hindsight which I’d had a planned section. I had a lot of excess fluid especially on my back which meant none of my 3 epidurals worked.

Can't decide whats the safest to do!!

  • every option has its risks. My friend had twin girls. First one came out fine (well, forceps and massive tear), second one got stuck and she had an emcs to get the second one out. CS is the quickest for the babies and you. You need to have all your energy in those early days (have you started pumping breast milk yet? With my section it took 4 days to come in) and I was exhausted from failed labour. If I was going to do it again (no chance!) I would be requesting a CS at my booking in app! Good luck!
