Pre birth

Getting to that time now when everything is changing and starting to feel different... what were the give always that you were soon to go into labour and how soon after did you go? Feel free to give TMI !!

With both of mine, starting around 48hrs before, I have not been able to stand being close to my OH. I want space that's MINE. I just set up on the arm chair in the living room and let him have at the sofa and bed for day/night

I'm assuming you're a FTM but when my second was born, my eldest (who's usually incredibly independent) wouldn't stop touching me all day long, and wouldn't fall asleep without cuddling until she dropped off. I was beside myself with frustration over how much hard work she was being all of a sudden, and then the contractions started. She must have known!

Thanks thats really interesting, hadn't considered either.... my son is seriously clingy and extra demanding... making him carry him and do things for him he can do etc and would really love hubby to sleep in the spare room but haven't got the nerve to say that!!!

I can't remember feeling or doing anything different but there was a kinda low grade bubble of excitement and anxiety leading up to both of my births. I just felt antsy the 24 hrs leading up to them, and I didn't want to be too far from home. Dc1 was late, dc2 was premature so not a timing thing either.
