I think this is the same lady who had the baby in the garden last year, that caused quite a stir when the baby fell on its head on the grass 🙈 well she's at it again!

That close up shot from the back though 😳

Jeez. I made the mistake of watching that whilst eating. Funny how the partner tucks the towel in his top like a napkin though!

legolife · 25/06/2019 15:44

I noticed that too lol. I dunno I've had 5 babies and there's something horrify about seeing a babies head fully out and the face moving 🙈

That was incredible. What an amazing birth. She was so chilled.

sycamore54321 · 30/06/2019 11:28

I read the blurb and didn’t watch. I don’t want to support someone doing something insanely dangerous. In particular, the risks to the second twin are very high and it is horrifying to think someone would take that risk for internet likes. I really hope the mother and both babies are healthy and well but that wouldn’t change the fact that what she did was hugely risky. I can’t understand how people call it “amazing”. If I drove down the motorway with infant twins not in car seats, and we all survived, would that be amazing? Or would it be a hugely needless risk with a very lucky outcome?

Stunt births like this fail to take account of the welfare and best interests of the baby. I won’t be watching.

cocodash · 30/06/2019 13:20

I'm due on Tuesday with baby number 1.

I now have the fucking fear hahaha

sweetkitty · 30/06/2019 13:45

Oh she makes it look so easy. She’s amazing wonder if she was so chilled with her first though Grin I’ve had 2 home births and I wasn’t that chilled

Branleuse · 30/06/2019 14:16

I doubt she did it for internet likes. More likely its something she really believes in, but yes, very risky indeed.
I had a really strong primal instinct to do an unassisted birth with just me and dp , but I didnt do it.

meow1989 · 30/06/2019 14:35

I mean... fair play to her but I got to 2cm and was demanding pethadine! I didnt watch the whole thing but bit concerning that the waters were green no? Very dangerous.

PhoebeBear · 01/07/2019 03:43

I watched this video a couple of weeks back! I thought she was amazing 😇
I haven't saw or heard about the pervious birth in the garden however. I'm expecting my first in 5 weeks and I really hope I can be this calm. Phew! (The dad made me laugh with the napkin tucked in) 😂

Yakadee · 02/07/2019 13:47

She made that look much easier than mine felt lol. Not sure how I feel hearing /seeing a baby crying whilst hanging out?? X

Silvercatowner · 03/07/2019 22:11

I watched and was in awe. She was incredibly lucky that the births were straightforward, but it was really interesting seeing the differences between a relaxed birth with no intervention, and the usual 'pushpushpush' medicalisation of the birthing process.

ZiggyB · 03/07/2019 22:47

I couldn’t tear my eyes away. Very different from my DD’s birth! That woman seemed unfazed by any of it. Interesting to see it all unfolding so calmly. I was worried when she kept saying ‘keep breathing’ to the girl though.

EAIOU · 03/07/2019 23:06

Shes bloody marvellous. Believe I ejected all form of bodily fluids and stayed I cant a million times 😂

Prettylittlebumblebee · 09/07/2019 23:20

Whyyyyy did I watch this lol

FertilitySchmertility · 09/07/2019 23:33

Wow! Bit scary with the waters though. Was that meconium ingestion?

faelavie · 10/07/2019 22:32

I did wonder if that was meconium?

Quite risky and I wouldn't do this

faelavie · 10/07/2019 22:34

Ugh I clicked "post" accidentally....

So yeah, I wouldn't do this as I would be too worried about possible complications, but I have to admit that woman is pretty amazing. Just pops out two babies and barely looks phased by it.

EarringsandLipstick · 10/07/2019 22:58

I kind of clicked on the link & watched without thinking. I didn't think it was one bit amazing. Absolutely meconium, very definitely so & T2 was in some distress. She was incredibly fortunate that one or both weren't breech, as would often be the case, as no easy way to deliver without assistance.

I honestly thought she made it look gruesome, not chilled.

I was fortunate enough to have straight-forward, natural deliveries myself but couldn't get on board with her, her approach, the endless camera clicking etc (and I know I watched it so am being hypocritical a bit!)

ZiggyB · 11/07/2019 23:28

I remember seeing something similar as a teenager. Put me right off birthing I can tell you. Shock
