Wider hips after childbirth?

Lol.. just a fun question here but I'm not a very naturally curvy person, and wondered, did your hips widen and you have more of a curvier shape after childbirth? Just wondering!

Yes, slightly (less than an inch). Ribcage also widened (annoyingly... I had a really tiny waist till then). Boobs blew up while pregnant and breastfeeding but subsequently deflated. Overall though I would say I am more body confident. It does make your body less girlish and more womanly IMO.

Yes mine did. I have much more of an hour glass figure now. I quite like it apart from the Mum tum

Yes definitely, I've gone up a size on my bottom half thanks to them! I naively didn't expect it!

I didn’t after my first, definitely have bigger hips after my second. More hourglass too and more curves in the right places.
Echo sentiment feel more body confident after children 😀

Yes, they haven't gone back down. I'm very heavy hipped anyway but now they are enormous, even when I'm below my pre-pregnancy weight.

Mine did, I had hellish SPD, but everything tightened up and shrunk back to normal eventually.

Loads. Am not that happy about it but I guess it makes my waist look smaller Smile

Yes the more kids you have the wider they get lol I know this as have lost weigh and got to 10st with 2 out of 3 baby's and got into 8-10 . Then after second time could fit in a 12 and was 10st so annoying

Yep, wider hips here too, first baby (about 2in)! Am breastfeeding so still up 4 cup sizes from pre-pregnancy as well Shock
