Has anyone else had this postpartum?

Yes. What do you want to know?

Fayy · 17/06/2019 06:56

How long did it take to get back to normal? Did you see a psysio?

It won't get better by itself.

I saw a physio 8 months post partum who misdiagnosed me. From correct diagnosis to being better was about 5 months. My physio was fab. It's not pleasant and it's not something you can really do by yourself and initially it makes things like incontinence worse but then it all gets better again.

I'm 6 months postpartum & saw a psysio last week & said my muscles are really tight. So given me relaxing excercises to do & im seeing her again in 2 weeks. But I feel like I need to wee every hour & get pain in my bladder pelvic area & burning & stinging. I'm so happy you've said it gets better.

Yes you get stretching exercises, but really you need internal massage/ stretching too. The urge to wee will get better too.

She might do that in the next few weeks, she was menna do bio feedback but didn't want to on the first session cause they were tight. I don't even know how it happened but it all started 5 weeks after I had her. Thought I had something really wrong with me. Which psysio did you go to? I really struggled to find someone near me the nearest one is 50 miles away from me. My doctors have been so bad aswell, I've seen so many specialist in the last 5 months & not one of them picked up on it x

@Fayy I know this post was from a couple of years ago, but if you’re still on here just wondering if things improved for you and how long did it take? x
