Has anyone had a natural delivery after 3 csections

Hi I have tried searching the net but can't seem to find any information regarding a vbac3. I am wondering whether is it possible to have a natural birth after 3 sections and if anyone has had a successful natural birth after multiple csrctions. Thank you for reading 😊

I was told it's not possible due to safety reasons. I've had two sections.

Why would you worry about something like that? If you've had three sections, a vaginal birth would be terribly dangerous. Not worth the risk.

It's not unheard of but I think it very much depends on the circumstance of your last sections and the circumstances of this pregnancy! I've heard some doctor will not do a vbac after more than 2 sections. I was told with my 2nd that if went in to labour naturally then it would be fine but absolutely no induction, ended in another section! I am currently pregnant with number 3 but not had consultant appointment yet but I think they will recommend an elective and I think this time I will just go with it!

I’d say this is is a situation to get proper medical advice / do your own reading of proper medical journals if you want to, rather than asking the internet. I could say I’d had a wonderful natural home birth after 3 c-sections and I’d be lying but strangers on the internet can say anything.

If you do want anecdotes, straight after my 2nd c-section (while sewing me up) the surgeon told me the scar had been very thin and if I had another baby I should definitely have a c-section. During my 2nd pregnancy I was put under a lot of pressure to try for a VBAC when I didn’t want to and didn’t have my elective c-section confirmed until 36 weeks (had it at 39 weeks). I was so glad I’d stuck to what I wanted.

Hi thank you for all the replies, I know that I would have to seek proper medical advice beforehand. I've also tried looking for more information regarding vbac3 bit all the info I have found has been in America. The only reason I was asking whether it was possible or would it automaically be another section is because I had side effect to the epidural and spinal block, which ended me up being put under due to my blood pressure dropping resulting in section, being giving to much and being numb all the way up to my neck and couldn't breath and then being given as much as they could give and only numbing one side of my body.I don't want to be put under again.. I was only told that it would of been possible for a natural birth with my 3rd when it was too late! Even though I asked. Thank you again for reading

Good luck with it all. That sounds a horrific experience last time. I hope whatever the kind of birth it’s much easier this time around.

An friend of a friend did, but the baby decided it was coming very quickly.
