Contractions started then stopped

So last night I had quite painful contractions for 2 hours and I then managed to fall asleep and they have completely stopped!
Has this happened to anyone else? Im 40weeks+3

I've had this most nights over the last week and a bit. I'm 40 weeks today.....

Today I've had them on and off all day but nothing exciting has happened yet 😂

They're gearing up. Mine did that on and off the week before actual labour.

@doingitforthekids @regansomerset oh no i could be in for a week or more of this then! I really thought it was the start of my labour :(

It's so frustrating isn't it?? I've been crampy all day today and usually it's only at night so was slightly more hopeful but now it's stopped again.

I didn't have any of this with my first. Just woke up and had proper contractions. This time, it's been on and off for days. I thought I was doing ok with it all but today I have felt frustrated!

My pregnancy yoga friend had this for 4 nights I think before the real thing. I had tightenings on Thursday and Saturday but nothing since. Come along now babies!!!

How are you getting on ? I had this last night for two hours they were 4 mins apart and been on and off today lost some of my plug , feeling so rubbish and want things to ramp up!

Felt a little crampy last night but it didnt result in anything and wasnt that bas as I fell asleep through it.

Mine were every 5 mins for atleast 30-45seconds. I fully thought it was labour!

Im 40+4 today and have a sweep booked in tomorrow so hopefully that sets it off!
