Is this Braxton Hicks?

I'm only 34+4 so probably just being ridiculous but I've not felt 'right' all day. I've deep cleaned the house like a crazy person so possibly just over done it.

I've had a constant period pain like cramp for 24 hours which went away when I got in the bath this evening about 5ish and since then (so for the last 3 hours) I've been having what I guess are Braxton Hicks contractions every half an hour ish and my belly goes rock hard. It feels like period pains but come on quite quickly and in between I feel pretty normal.

I'm also very (for lack of a better word) moist. I've had to put a pad in.

Previous pregnancy was induced at 36 weeks and then resulted in EMCS so I've never gone into natural labour and up until now either in previous pregnancy or this one have never had a Braxton Hicks contraction.

Does this sound like Braxton Hicks?

If you are unsure for whatever reason, call your midwife. It sounds like labour pains because I’ve heard that’s how they start, like period pains.

Ooooo could be either. Have you packed everything incase?

ThirtyFiveWeeker · 23/05/2019 21:02

Yes I'm pretty sure everything's done.

How’s it going now?

Sorry DS1 woke up with explosive sickness and diarrhoea Envy I'm still the same - hoping now the cramps and pain aren't a prequel to what DS has and I don't have a horrible bug coming Blush
