contractions advice

Can anyone advise me on what early labour is like, I’ve had what is exactly like period pain for 3 days seems slightly worse tonight, but I’m unsure if I’m having early mild contractions, my stomach does feel tight on and off but I feel like the pains are too long to be a contraction, I’m 36 week+1 and just feeling worried as I’m not sure if it’s the real thing an I’m not 37 weeks.

Any advice much appreciated haven’t asked hospital as don’t think they’ll be interested without regularity

Cant advise as pregnant with my first atm. Just give triage a ring and they will tell you to monitor or go in, that's what there for xx

Sounds like it could be braxton hicks...any better with rest?

I will call them if gets worse just sort of watching and waiting , I did think Braxton Hicks but wasn’t sure if they’d be this painful? Doesn’t seem to go away with rest x
