7 days after being cut and stitched. Been having tea tree oil baths and they still hurt just as much or if not more than before. Just got DH to check and he said some are gaping and there's White water liquid. Please tell me this is just the tea tree oil. Going to call the midwife in the morning.

I'd stop with the tea tree oil for a start. Best to consult the midwife I think before doing anything else to them

Good idea to call the midwife OP. Is there any smell to it? And just check yourself for fever.

I'm not sure if it's infection but agree to get in touch with mw / doc. I had an infection with mine and it was very painful but sorted out with antibiotics.

Hope you get sorted x

Get a HV at a drop in clinic to have a look. I'd do it soon xxx

I had this with my first born, in the end my midwife took them out instead of waiting for them to dissolve, I had instant relief.

If there was infection likelyvti be a bit smelly too, but best to get checked by midwife.

My stitches came open, the wound was left to heal itself. Didn't take that long.

Fwiw I only had showers with plain water no soap, imagine it would sting in tea tree baths!

Emergency GP appointment to check they're not infected
