How long after bloody show/mucous plug did labour start?

Hey all. Just wondering how long after you had a bloody show or lose your mucous plug did you go into labour?

I am due DC 2 today (woo!) and on Saturday spent the whole day in early labour for it to peter out at night. Since, I've had increased discharge starting to turn bloody. This morning I've had ALOT of thick bloody mucous, so hoping its not far off? I'm due to get a sweep in 3 hours too, surely to heck it can't be far off now right?!

For me it was around 4pm and I gave birth the next morning at 2:30am. :-) good luck!

I lost my plug at 9am ish after a night of gentle contractions and they ramped up after that. Had dd the next afternoon. Good luck!

With DC2 - bloody show on Monday morning and some accompanying (mild) pains that petered off in the afternoon. Tuesday, nothing happened AT ALL. Very early hours Wednesday (00:30) my waters broke suddenly and baby born just after 6am.

About 20 minutes with my second thank god for vinyl on bathroom floor.

Had my "show" about 3 hours before contractions started properly with both my boys. 14 hours later ds1 arrived, only 7 hours for ds2!

Had the “show” on Sunday, contractions began very slowly on Monday morning. By Monday evening labour was in full swing and DD was born on Tuesday.

Just an update. I started contracting at 5.30 and they were coming every 5-10mins until I went for my sweep at 8am. Sweep was successful and I was 3-4cm. After sweep the contractions started to become stronger, but very inconsistent and between 3-10mins apart. Got sent away for a two hour walk, but it hasn't brought it on any further so I'm back home.

Very frustrating, as I have Group B Strep, so need antibiotics during labour. I was told to go in when my contractions were every 10mins or less, but they don't want to commit to hooking me up yet since it's so inconsistent! So I have no idea what is going on 😂
