So many false starts this time around!

I'm 39 weeks and I've been getting false contractions for 2 weeks now. They're mostly in the morning when I wake up and then I get my hopes up and they disappear. I never had this with my dd so it's completely new to me. Has anyone had these and how did you know labour had definitely started?

Could it be gas, op?? I have these this time round too!! I'm 37 weeks with DS no. 2 and keep getting pains similar to labour pain, but no tightening etc. A bit like reverse Braxton-Hicks? 🙈 no idea what it is.

Sorry no help from me, just thought I was the only one so it's in the nicest way possible nice to find someone going through the same thing.
