C section date

Hi, just wondering any mums in the Greater Manchester area when did you get your c section date? I'm 38+2 third baby was told I'd get a phone call the week before and the section would roughly be at 39 weeks. Still haven't heard anything and I need to arrange child care for the date and the pre op the day before?

first Elective C Section in N.Staffs - 4w before
Second elective c section in Cheshire - 16w before

I would suggest you call them as u only have 5days before it would be performed!!!

Really, wow that far in advance il definitely be ringing them Monday morning

Not Manchester but Halifax but not too far. I got my date at 36 weeks and was booked in when I was 39+2.

It was a fantastic experience and recovery is amazing!
