*Good Vibes* 1cm dilated & thin cervix after sweep

Hi everyone.
Looking for some good / realistic vibes.
39+2 today and I had my first sweep (1st baby)
They said I am 1cm dilated & my cervix is very thin. It felt like she did a good sweep !

Feeling sore / crampy low at the front & the bottom of my back is aching & sore ! Not sure if it just from the sweep or something is happening.
Got another sweep in 6 days with my midwife.
As it is my first baby I have no idea what it should feel like etc.
Did anyone go into labour after their 1st sweep ?

I'm 38+4 and I tried to get a sweep today and the midwife wouldn't even check me. She said it's against policy. I was gutted as I was really looking forward to just seeing if there was some kind of progression :(

Anyway. My friend usually goes into labour after 2 sweeps.

@Cmariam
Ooh that's a shame. I am under a consultant so they did my sweep at that last appointment. And he also put in my notes that my midwife can give me one at 40+1.
Maybe wait until your 40 weeks & ask again.
My consultant said you can have as many sweeps as you like as it isn't classed as "induction"

Our baby girl was born on 25/03/19 at 00:07 am ... 7 mins past her due date !
All is well , I went into hospital at 6.30 pm on Sunday the 24th and I was 4cm dilated !
