Hi all! I am 39w4 and im not sure if my waters are slowly going. I felt really damp earlier today.. wasnt urine and didnt smell but underwear soaked. Have had small gushes like when you get your period, have put on a pad but now nothing!
Small twinges in my stomach but nothing more.
First time mom, so im not sure wjat this means and what to do? Any help or advice?

Could be. I was 39+1 and woke up with slight cramps in the morning and was leaking clear kiquid slowly too. DS was born that evening. Call delivery suite if you have any worries cos if it is your waters you will need to be seen.x

Update?
My waters broke fully with contractions for my first (39+4) but this time I'm further along and just keep getting very damp
Would love to know what happened next!

I had something similar the day my early labour started - assumed it was my waters but nope (they were broken a long way into labour) but we think it was what the midwife called a watery show. From memory that was about 11am and I think I had a few twinges here and there but then at 8pm contractions started, though nothing close together until the following morning. Good luck!
