Induction likelihood?

I'm being induced tomorrow morning - I'm leaking fluid but cervix is unfavourable and only about 1cm dilates (2nd baby).

What are the chances of baby being born tomorrow? Or is it likely to take ages? I know it's impossible to say but just interested in people's experiences. They've said they'll start with propess and then try gel if that doesn't work...

With my 3rd I was given a pessary at 9 am but the doctor said my cervix was high and firm and would probably need a c section the next day, contractions started around noon and DD was born at half past one pm

I was 14 days over due with ds2 and no signs of labour, had pessary in at 6pm and baby was born at 5am next morning and with no pain relief
but It happened so fast that dp and dm missed the birth

Was induced with my 3rd, had 3 pessaries before they broke my waters but luckily that was enough to start labour and baby was born 7 and a half hours later. But tbh the process took a couple of days, a lot of waiting around for doctors etc. Maybe depends on the hospital- I think my maternity unit was possibly busier than usual based on comments from some of the staff.
