After a failed sweep, I had a second sweep on Tuesday (41+1) with contractions starting about 6 hours later. They were uncomfortable but manageable. Wednesday I spent bouncing on my ball, increasing contractions about 10 minutes apart and I lost my mucus plug, but by the evening they stopped. Yesterday had much more intense contractions in the morning, which stopped again. Then from 10.30pm - 6.30am this morning they were coming between 5-8 minutes apart and even more intense but all of a sudden just tailed off again. Went for my booked 3rd sweep (at 41+4) and was devastated to find out that I was zero cms dilated!! Since then I’ve been having such intense contractions every 10 minutes. I’m using a tens machine but they are so intense with pain in my stomach I feel like I might pass out. Really starting to doubt I can manage another night of this and feel like I’m never going to reach active labour!! Anyone else had similar experience or any advice?! I’m exhausted and desperate
