Adhesions/scar tissue after c sections ?

Can adhesions and scar tissue ever be ‘hidden’?
At each of my c sections (5) or gynae operations I’ve been told hardly and scar tissue etc but I’m convinced I do as am in pain daily since last section over a year ago

I have an appt coming up in 6 weeks but wondered has anyone else had similar. I’m having to take painkillers every day, I’m uncomfortable and I have the sensation of something feeling stuck together inside like how id imagine adhesions feel ?

Hi @fairground54,

Some women develop chronic post-surgical pain. It could be what is going on. If you haven't seen a women's health physiotherapist, this is were I would start. Your GP should be overseeing this ie have a pain management plan in place and rule out causes. I do believe physiotherapy would be the first step, to fully recondition your body and possibly reduce the pain. Tense muscles, weak muscles, scarring can all cause or add pain so doing all the physio rehab is important. After that and depending on changes or not, they might consider a pain clinic. Typically this is after you've ruled out/addressed other things.

I'm sorry you're suffering in this way. I hope you get listened to and referred on. Flowers
