Pain 4 weeks after C Section

Hi ladies, I'm 4 weeks PP after my 2nd c section and still feeling quite a bit of pain. My first recovery seemed a doddle in comparison (or maybe I just forget the crap bits...)
Particularly today I've had some sharp stinging pains on one side, the side where they made an incision and I still have a stitch there to dissolve. Can't get to doc today but had pharmacist take a look at the wound and she said no signs of infection and health check at 2 weeks said it was healing nicely. Just wondering why it's still sore and when it stops! I"m 41 this time round with a lot more to do with 2 kids so I'm thinking that's why it's a bit longer to recover this time round?? Getting so fed up with it now and looking for light at the end of the tunnel...

I had an emcs almost a year ago and am still in pain now. Several doctors have seen me and can't get to the bottom of it. I have had a meeting with the hospital who butchered me and have been given the go ahead for a referral to a plastic surgeon due to the pain. I believe the skin is too tight and I have limited movement because of this. Also, the middle of the incision has dipped like an egg shape. No idea why, but a blind man working in the dark could've done a better job than the incompetent idiot that did my operation. Forgot to add, that the section wasn't needed either. Turns out that they were just bored and I was taking too long for their liking. No risk to myself or the baby. Furious is not the word. Thank you very much, University Hospital North Durham.

Had a section 17w ago (breech) and I still get a bit of pain which I put down to nerve damage, I wasn't fully able to be out and about untill 6wk pp.
I sill feel tender if I have over stretched myself, and I'd Imagin in your situation having a baby and sibling to care for you can't always avoid not to.
I wouldn't worry yourself too much, speak to your doctor or see if your midwife or hv can give you some advice

I hope you feel better

I had a very tight stitch on one side with my first section (had 3.) it was very painful. Hopefully it’s just a tight stitch, it might be worth trying to get to the doc if at all possible, it’s always better to be seen if your concerned. I’d get yourself an appointment even if just to save you worrying. I do remember still feeling pretty tender around your time with all 3 if that’s any help- but get seen by your own doc xx
