Labour pains in thighs

I was so ready to give birth. I was 2 weeks post dates and had been listening to my hypnobirthing tracks, reading everything I could, practicing Spinning Babies and yoga moves. Everything was in place. I had heard it might sting a bit, but I was going to pop a squat/walk/sit on my pilates ball and all would be well.

I had a long early labour, like a month of contractions that went nowhere. Was induced on the Friday and then on Saturday morning it kicked off. And the pain was almost entirely in my thighs.

It was so discombobulating. Not only did the pain go from 6 out of 10 to 11 out of 10 out of nowhere but it wasn't where I thought it would be. And I had no idea what I could do to help, or even what position I could be in that would help me relax all my muscles.

Anyone else have that? What did you do?

yep I had drawing pains in my thighs too.
also get them just before I come on.
often wondered why, maybe its referred pain from the nerves in the pelvis going down the front of the legs.

Yeah, I used to too back in the early days of menstruating. Bloody referred pain! You can't do anything with it.
